A local business had gotten pretty creative with supporting their paint booth which was on a concrete slab that fell. Note the stack of washers previously supporting the structure. We were able to jack up the booth and support it with lots of PolyLevel!

Here you can see how the used jacks to lift up on the outer edge of the sidewalk to make sure that the PolyLevel lifted evenly on the concrete and not create stress points on the slabs.

Sue was having issues with her sunroom and door over the years and finally determined it could not be put off any longer. It took a few months of her thinking it over before she decided to give us a shot. Prior to us coming in she could not easily open or close her sunroom door due to sinking on the concrete slab below. After completion her sunroom was leveled back to its original position but she was still unable to open and close her door correctly because of settling and movement on the lock mechanism. Matt and his crew wanted to make sure she could use her sunroom that night so they stayed behind and fixed the problem free of charge. Sue is now a happy camper and looking forward to many more years of use to her sunroom. Thanks Sue, we appreciate your business!
Josh and April noticed their stairs were slowing falling from the house and decided it was time to get them fixed. We were able to utilize our unique jack system to pull the stairs back into place and inject PolyLevel underneath to stabilize them permanently. As you can see the stoop had also settled next to the front door. We drilled a few small holes in the front stoop and slowly injected more PolyLevel to raise it back to its original position. I'd call this one a success! Thanks Josh and April for your business!
David Y. was hired to remodel a basement in Loveland, CO. Upon further inspection he noticed the basement floor had uneven concrete. One slab seemed to be sinking while another appeared to be lifting. There was also visible gapping between the basement walls and concrete floor. He knew this problem is solved by either mudjacking or a newly poured concrete slab. He recalled mudjacking was messy and also tends to fail within the first few years. This was not an option since a remodel was quickly approaching. A fully concrete repair was the best option but not one that would most likely lead to failing concrete. Newly poured concrete slabs would be expensive and delay the project for weeks or months. David knew neither option would result in a quick fix or keep his remodel on track. He recalled a past client of his ran a concrete repair company and decided to give Matt a call.
We were able to schedule an inspection that very same day and handed David a proposal to not only repair the sunken concrete but keep his project on track. Saving him and the homeowner money. We were also able to schedule the installation within the week and it turning out beautiful! Ruth's basement is stable and level for years to come! Thank you for entrusting us with your project!

Cherie had a sunken Driveway slab and fallen stoop which was only getting worse over time. She ultimately decided to get her sunken concrete fixed. Mudjacking is always an option but tends to fail shortly after. If you've ever had something mud jacked before, you know... it doesn't last forever. PolyLevel is the same concept as mudjacking but uses a superior product. Think Plastic Wheels vs Metal Wheels on a toy car. Which will last longer?? Of course, the metal wheels will last longer. The same goes for mudjacking vs. PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a lightweight, high-density foam that is a tenth of the weight of a mudjacking slurry. A typical mudjacking slurry consists of mud, gravel, and concrete. What do we know about those things? They are super heavy but also erode easily if water gets underneath the slab. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that creates a waterproof barrier. Talk about a game-changer! Saft to say Cherie's Falling Garage Floor, sunken stoop, and unlevel driveway slabs are fixed for the long haul.
Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a concrete repair bid and project with Sprague Structural Solutions? Allow us to share the story of Bradshaw Cottages in Estes Park, CO, and learn from the viewpoint of Robert, one of our concrete repair specialists, and Justin, our lead production foreman.
Ken and his wife, owners of Bradshaw Cottages, needed a more affordable and logical option than re-pouring the concrete. The property had become a tripping hazard and demanded immediate attention. Since this property was grandfathered in and needed concrete repair, re-pouring would have been a huge expense for this small business. Ken and his wife searched for another option and found Sprague Structural Solutions. After Robert assessed the situation by thoroughly measuring the concrete, finding other areas that needed to be addressed, and discussing options with the owners, the couple decided upon our three-part concrete protection system (CPS) due to its durability, longevity, and affordability. The CPS includes PolyLevel, SealantPro, and NexusPro.
PolyLevel® is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surface. It’s a more durable, safe, and cost-effective option than mud-jacking. Developed by Foundation Supportworks, SealantPro is a state-of-the-art material that bonds with concrete on a molecular level, permanently protecting it from water, dirt, and other contaminants in a single coat. Once applied, SealantPro dries in minutes and is fully cured in just 6 hours, so you can use your concrete the same day. It is simple, fast, economical, and extremely effective. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro is 100% Silicone based and resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble, or dry out. It can also stretch to twice it’s applied width! That means a single application can seal the joints and cracks in your concrete driveway, patio, pool, deck, or sidewalk for years to come, protecting it from damage caused by soil compaction and washout.
When our installation crew arrived, they discovered the extent of the problem. They found that the main slab was heaving from an old tree root. Justin and Alex thought outside the box, cut, and removed the heaving concrete and set it aside. Concrete weighs approximately 120 lbs. per cubic yard, so although it wasn’t an easy task, it was 100% necessary to save Ken’s concrete. The tree root was then cut and removed prior to the crew lifting, leveling, and sealing it back into its original position. The pictures on this concrete lifting job are quite impressive if we do say so ourselves! We can proudly say the owners of Bradshaw Cottages are very pleased with their concrete repair project and are ready to continue serving guests without worry!
Did you know that we not only do exterior concrete repair, but we also can fix sunken concrete and cracks interiorly? A few months ago, a customer contacted us regarding their basement. Join Robert, one of our inspectors, and Niall, one of our installers, as they take you through the job story of Nick and his complex concrete repair project.
I (Robert) was the inspector selected to look at Nick’s uneven and sinking concrete floor in his tri-level home. Nick shared with me that he had already purchased flooring for the living space and was looking forward to having it installed. Because the concrete was so uneven, he was told that the flooring couldn’t be installed. I was determined to make this experience positive, especially because Nick had a negative experience with another contractor. The inspection results indicated uneven concrete slabs in the bathroom, laundry room, and living room.
After discussing both the different options to repair his concrete and the necessary preparation work required, Nick decided to move forward with the project. Our professional team of installers lifted and leveled the concrete basement flooring. We take pride in our work and strive to solve, to the best of our ability, every concrete issue that homeowners have with their concrete flatwork both inside and outside.
Niall, one of our installers, gives his perspective as well. The living room floor had fallen, causing a negative angle which affected the placement of furniture. In order to prep for his concrete repair project, Nick was required to remove all the flooring, furniture, and potentially the baseboards.
Our installation crew injected PolyLevel underneath the slab to lift and support it, maintaining a level surface for Nick’s enjoyment. PolyLevel is a two-part foam engineered to expand immediately upon injection beneath a settled slab, and injection holes are smaller than those required for mudjacking. PolyLevel expands to many times its original volume, forcing the sunken concrete back to its original level. In just minutes, the expanded polymer hardens and reaches ninety percent or more of its final strength, making it possible for the restored surface to immediately regain full functionality.
After the concrete repair project was completed, Nick was extremely happy, due to bringing back the functionality of his living room and other areas! Now he can enjoy more time with his family in these areas of the home. Call us at 1-970-214-2011 for your free concrete repair estimate!
